Software Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Software Data Engineer to build scalable data pipelines, drive data integration projects, and support advanced analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines and complex data algorithms.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through strong validation processes.
  • Implement data integration and data modeling best practices.
  • Lead data integration projects and mentor junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements.
  • Work with data scientists/analysts to optimize data flow and storage for analytics.
  • Take ownership of assigned modules, ensure timely delivery, and follow best coding practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Advanced Analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Python (3+ Years).
  • Experience with SQL and data warehousing.
  • Hands-on experience with data frameworks/libraries: Spark, Pandas, Polars, NumPy, Metaflow.
  • AWS experience (big plus): ECR, containerization, Batch, Step Functions (3+ years).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab or similar).
